Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) typically operate in clients’ homes, assisted living facilities, or other similar establishments (excluding nursing homes) to provide assistance to elderly, disabled, ill, and mentally disabled persons.
Their primary duties involve aiding clients with daily activities, including exercise, walking, bathing, and grooming. Additionally, PCAs may be required to perform minor housekeeping tasks, run errands, and help with meal preparation.
